Now, this could be a scene right out of central Florida...looks just like what you'd see driving from Ocala to Orlando.

I wanted to tell you, too, that your photography just gets better and better! I'm really impressed!

I would not have taken these to be pines, not at all what I envision as a pine forest.

I know absolutely nothing about pine trees, but I have just seen (apparently!) the same at Jacob's blog and that can't simply be true! :-) There must be a lot of species, but I can only tell the difference in one of them here because of its gorgeous round shape...
