Welcome.

Welcome to my blog - why haiku? Why not? I look at the world throug my camera and haiku is the best and simpliest way to comment what I can see around. All photos are mine, haiku unfortunately not.
Enjoy.

If pressed to compare
this brief life,I might declare:
it's like a boat
that crosses this morning's harbor
leaving no mark on the world.

Wspaniałe, niezapomniane zdjęcie. I piękny wiersz - czasem właśnie tak myślę. Jaki ślad pozostaje, co odciska się w świecie z naszej obecności... niewiele.

The photo looks like it is stormy out! I love the haiku, the way it points out the ephemeral aspect of life!!

Hard to find what's more beautiful here, the sky or the sea!

One word, just beautiful.

You have really brought poetry and photography together in a dramatic fashion in this post. The sea is rough and unrelenting and dangerous and yet beautiful in its own way...

...just as is the sea of life.

Whatever mark we make as we cross the sea of life, for good or bad, is soon forgotten...usually.

One of my favorite songs is by George Jones, a country singer of some fame here. He bemoans the fact that whenever he makes his mark, someone paints the wall!

Too true!
