Lovely to have you posting again. Pioneer spirit ... I like that .. we can so frequently see where an old homestead has stood in the past because of the fruit trees that are still hanging on after the buildings are gone.

We don't grow apples here, but I remember apple trees from my childhood in the state of Minnesota. There is nothing quite like picking an apple off a tree and eating it! Such pleasure!
